A public service announcement, please read:

Loud pipes don't in fact save lives. In order to make sure we have a racing future, the committee monitors noise a few times a year.
Here's your warning. A noise meter will be used on the Saturday and Sunday of the coming racing weekend (19th, 20th) to monitor for excessively loud motorcycles. 2 hours of non-stop racing is loud enough, so we don't need any more favours in attracting complaints.

If you know your bike is even a bit loud, change it. You have time. Please don't turn up and force the hands of the organisers because that's no fun.

Otherwise we hope you've done your maintenance because 2 hours is a huge amount of laps for any machine to do. Good luck and we'll see you at the track!

Make sure you have all the other stuff done as well. This is the one time a year we do a full bike check at my Wellington so make sure all the normal stuff is done as well. That is

    Nylon
Sump plug and oil filler wired
    Brake caliper bolts wired
    Shark fin.

We'll be checking all that again at Tokoroa for the NI round in December and at the GP in (probably) March.

bump with two weeks to go.

You will be required to bring a flag marshal per team, if you don't bring one there is a $40 extra fee but we'd rather have the marshals.
