Classic Hondas at Sturgis Motorcycle Museum and Hall of Fame

I just got back last week from a nice couple of week's holiday in USA and even though it wasn't rally week I thought I had to at least have a look at Sturgis South Dakota.

Much to my surprise the Sturgis Motorcycle Museum and Hall of Fame has an incredibly tasteful display of the early ground breaking Hondas that over the 10 years from 1964 mobilised Americans to ride motorcycles and no doubt those same people are now the dudes riding to Sturgis each year.

There was me expecting the museum would be ho-hum for me and just full of American Iron, but I thought I'd better have a look anyway and got the surprise.

Still more pics. Can't say I was one that got hooked on the "Dream" style like that white one.

    Cheers Merv

One of my mates had the 305 Super Hawk and they still look great. I see on the sign for the CB450 says "Triumph Killer" - they could certainly run rings my Tiger 100 at the time!

    Nice bit of nostalgia...

What pisses me most about my 305 is I have no idea what became of it. I don't recall selling it, and I don't think it was stolen.
it's not a bad thing till you throw a KLR into the mix.
those cheap ass bitches can do anything with ductape.
