I've only ever seen Klim gear in ads. I did like the look of it and was interested. They use it on snowmobiles which must be some sort of recommendation. If you get one, can write it up here?
Thanks in anticipation : )

You'll get more response in the adventure bike section, theres a few devotees in there...
But when your paying upwards of 2k for a set of gear no ones going to admit its lesser than they expected or just same as cheaper gear IF that was the case.
I'm pretty happy with my RST Adventure II pants and jacket for around $460 at a quarter of the cost.....
The NZ rep posts in there to so youll get all the info you need.

I have a mate and wife with full Klim gear. He is a big fan, but big $$$$!
Got the Badlands Pro suit which has now been updated by the Badlands. More Adventure /Touring foucus were the Apex is a street jacket. Very well made and finish is top rate. They are a shell only set up so in winter Ya need to layer up Merino base layer then a soft shell jacket works well.
The suit gets better the more I use it , takes a little longer to put on than some of My BMW suits but it's just a matter of getting used to it. Very water tight and does not collect water it just runs off.
Chris from Motomail stocks the Badlands if You wanted to have a look.
Also well vented so when it rains Ya just pull up the zips and Your away again no of this putting liners or oversuit on.
I have the Klim Overland jacket (comes with armour) - I'd highly recommend it!
I also have the Klim Badlands Pro pants, bought on a run-out sale (half price) which made them really good value.
Klim gear is definitely good quality stuff and I'm glad I paid the money to get something better than the cheap crap I had prior.
You might find yourself getting wet if you ride for hours in the rain, but I've found that riding to or from work (~25 minutes) even in heavy rain the whole way I am still dry.
