if that was the case why do they have to survey roads for speed records and they're not allowed to vary in elevation? remember too the tuning for daytona would be precise, whereas the isle of man there'd be some safety tuned in due to the changing elevations and sheer length of the course and the variables, reliability was vital for finishing and safety.
