Temporary import - place for storing the crate

    Hello everyone,
I am going to import my Jawa 1968 250ccm smoker in December to Auckland and ride it for one month through the country. I have a crate which must be used for next transport to South America in 2017. Do you have any idea how to find a place around Auckland where can I leave the crate for at least one month?

I would appreciate your advice. Thanks.
    Jarda

P.S.: Looking for some NZ Jawa - CZ owners too... :-)

I guess this would be too luxurious option for storing the wooden crate only :-))

Just google self storage places near to where you'll be. Wont cost much for a month.

Furniture removal companies Like Crown relocations or New Zealand Van Lines also offer reasonable-ish short term storage options as well.

How much could you get renting it as accomodation for the period ?

Relax go2stroke, that's a joke against Auckland, enjoy your visit.

An approximate arrival date would allow me to work out if I could assist. I'm able to transport a crate and there's no shortage of space here but it's not going to work if I'm out of town on business.

If I don't have to worry about moving it for you, you could shove it under my house. Pm me the size of the crate.

Thank you very much for this kind offer!
I will arrive on 30th November and the motorbike should be there too at that moment. However I have no idea how long does it take to go through customs. Is this time OK for you?

    Have sent you a PM...

Wondering if Madness might be able to help with transport? - as don't have a trailer or suitable vehicle...

Does anyone have any idea what the process is that Jarda will go through with customs/agriculture and quarantine?
