They appear to have more freedom than during the Bridgestone era. Riders were very vocal early on about the Michelins

Aussie wild card for Australia round, makes sense I guess, he's not a bad peddler.

You'd never go hungry with Nigella Gaz.
If it weren't for flashbacks...I'd have no memory at all..

Not DP, MM etc, they seem to be well handled, I read an interview where they asked him (DP) what he thinks of the Mitchie rain tyre (sorry can't remember where) and he said "I'd rather not comment" or something to that effect. But yes last year lots of the riders were kicking up about them, not so bad this year the going consensus is that picking the right tyre on Sunday is the most important part, rather than all of them being shit. Rossi's current line of thought is that their bike has gone the wrong way to match the tyres.
I still believe that if they had stuck with the soft carcus earlier this year MM would not be leading the championship as it did not suit his style as much, point is getting the tyre right for all riders is near impossible. That's racing I guess, makes for interesting racing for us though not knowing whether our rider will get the tyre right on Sunday

    Daryl Beattie

Nice interview with Beattie on MotoGP.com. Bought a little smile to my face given how happy he is with his life now.
Racing is for most people a short or very short period of their lives.
"Life is what happens to you while you're busy making other plans." John Ono Lennon.

"If you have never stared off into the distance then your life is a shame." Counting Crows

"The girls were in tight dresses, just like sweets in cellophane" Joe Jackson

Cheers for the heads up. I'll track it down. Always seemed like a good cunt. Such a shame he never got to show us how good he now doubt was.

    Will track that myself.
Remember when he lost his toes in a crash , his foot went into the drive chain ?

Listening to the commentary during the Brands Hatch BSB round there was speculation as to the sudden improvement of Michael Laverty who had appeared at the sharp end of the field, and why he hadn't been there previously.

He posted on Twitter, "I didn't ride any harder this weekend, I simply had an electronics engineer who listened to me."

Do us all a favour, by bringing yourself up to speed, before pulling onto the motorway.

I think he had a series of head knocks on the Suzuki or maybe Yamaha as well that effectively curtailed his ealier promise shown on Honda.
