    They're saying a dual event now....Hamner & Seddon

Maybe the guys doing exercises in Murchison will be re-deployed to a real life scenario that they were training for.

We flew in from Melbourne last night at midnight and had to fly around a bit while they checked out the Aucks runway. All good, so landed and felt piss all. Listened to talk back radio (yeah I'm an old bugger) on the way home to the Tron and there was a load of Ducklanders ringing in and talking/complaining about the shake. FFS. The show host was cutting them a bit short so he could hear from the real affected people. We got told on the plane it was a 7.2 and the radio was saying 6.6. There were plenty of people that rang in to say that MUST be wrong and by the time we got home they'd uprated it to 7.5. Scary shit for those at or close to the epi-centre. Hope your nerves have settled a bit Grumph...get back in that shed

I slept through it but sirens woke me. And the visitors from the lowlands a little after that.

I did go downstairs to tie the bikes. I've been working on the street so was one of the only nights I haven't had it secured with a tiedown from a handlebar to ceiling. Typical. Fortunately we didn't get much here.

So when is Crasher going to post pictures from his lounge room? Oh the hu. . . bikemanity.
Don't you look at my accountant.

I reckon you'll still be travelling via the West Coast and Arthurs Pass at Christmas.
I don't know if the RO/RO facilities at Lyttelton are still serviceable, I'd assume someone will be asking today....They haven't been used for years to my knowledge.

Couple of fairings fell down in the barn, they were free anyway, LOL.

Terrible for logistics companies. Hope this event doesn't impact NZ tourism too much.

If you can make it on Kiwibiker you can make it anywhere.
