    I have been in this situation myself.Fact is they say that you must display your ticket (when you buy it) or be able to prove you paid for a ticket and if you cant, you obviously will get a ticket. So take a pic or pay with CC, or get a ticket.

    Forget displaying the ticket on a bike. You have two choices.

    You can either park and walk off or park, buy a ticket and walk off. If you do the former and get a ticket then tough shit, if you do the latter and get a ticket you send the ticket in and get off.

    Dunedin shitty council don't expect a bike to display a ticket as they get nicked/blown off etc etc. Don't know why other places don't so the same. Mind you, what is the point of having a motorbike if you are going to go and pay for parking anyway?
