    The Grand Tour

Well, watched the first episode last night, and was very impressed. They obviously have a much larger budget than the BBC ever gave them for Top Gear! Especially laughed out loud as their first celebrity dropped in for a visit
Clarkson, May and Hammond were in imperious form!
All that is left now for the BBC to do is to roll the corpse of Top Gear into the grave they dug for it!

When is it on, is it available to non sky viewers?

so many shows have their titles prepended with 'new' or some such.

At least I could get to hear what the car sounds like, never can at most dealers/shows.

    Sounds like worth a shot.

Was hoping they would manage to get big three hybrids in there, and was not disappointed. Good show.

Sent from December, when it actually airs here on our amazon whatsit

    Sky? How quaint hehehe
The only time I have tuned into a television channel is when I watch the AB's on prime.
This site is your friend, best to view it with a add blocker on. Just click the red adblock overlays 3 times to remove them. (if you use firefox, use UBlock Origin addblocker, way better than Addplus and no red overlays)

From there I use the Click n Upload site for my downloads, I signed up for a free membership so I don't see the pesky countdowns or catcha codes.
This is the link to get the episode I used to get it.

Where did you watch it? I saw that it was on Amazon prime for US$13.00 IIRC but couldn't see it anywhere else and I wasn't paying that.

OK that got superceded. Thanks for that, but it still seems like too much trouble.

Welcome back to the three idiots. It has been a long time (Made even longer by the Chris Evans TG mess)

    Love the star guest segment.

I just counted - 4 clicks from hitting the site to the file downloading to my computer.
Once your set up with adblocker and free clicknupload account (2-3 minutes work tops) your good to go with 4 clicks to any decent program shown in pretty much all the english speaking countries, even NZ ones! (they are uploaded within minutes of them showing in their home networks)
If the programs you want tosee are not in the latest listings you can still find them using the search on the top right of the homepage
I've been watching NZ Grand Designs of that site, hell they even had desperate Auckland house wives or what ever that diarrhea was called lol

I watched it last night (torrents are still the most reliable form of getting quality).

It will be great I think, however, many of the jokes were forced and a bit lame, but once they tune the format a bit and get more comfortable with it I think it will be cool.

The BIG danger is that american producers tend not to understand british humour (likewise, poms writing jokes for matt leblanc is NEVER going to work) - they need to let them do their thing, otherwise it will all end up a bit meh.

those big $$$ make for spectacular looking cinematography, but with those yanks having a say in the humour it might go downhill.

Good episode. That BMW M2 is a stunning looking car. The celebrity guests meeting their fates had me laughing.

"I didn't know you could shit yourself to death"...

I wonder if the retarded spastics at bbc have woken up to the fact that it isn't a car show?
It is about the interaction of the presenters and all of the "other fluff", occasionally with a car thrown in? I doubt it... still.

The props from "Burning Van" look rather like those at burning man. Probably containing exactly the same quantity of "substances" too...

    "Spinning" looks interesting...
Sort of like drifting but requiring substantially more talent.

    i preferred the shooty bits...

its interesting now they have no PC bs from the BBC to worry them. I suspect things will become rather more risque.

Someone told me that they've basically been strangled by the BBC, who have copy-written everything they can think of. Apparently James May can't say "Oh, cock!" anymore.

I found the 2nd episode to be nice n fluid and a little bit better than the first when it came to a studio stuff.

    10/10 so far.

Shame about the copy right stuff as I imagine most of the catch phrases were coined by the trio. WAYYY more episodes that TG to look forward to as well. Many happys.
