    It was -5 when I left home. 50km and a little bit of altitude later it was -10 with a foot of snow on the main street of Zurich.     Not much wind in Switzerland. Not that it would be a problem now. I used to have a problem with wind but it turned out that the bikes I had were particularly susceptible. Mind you, I've not been out in a hurricane so I really can't say for sure.
