The softly softly approach to moderating only works with members who know how to behave as adults. Instead of agreeing to disagree on a discussion point, the personal attacks between a select few, and the way some new members and their questions are treated...well it's no wonder that I choose to spend less time on here. Looks like I'm not the only one

I suspect that quite a few long-standing members as well as newer ones just choose to say nothing and either not post much or leave altogether. There's enough of that infantile behaviour on TV or at kindy come to that. Looks pretty pathetic on a site supposedly dedicated to motorcycling.

Actually, the site is for NZ Motorcyclists to chat, and not exclusively about motorcycles. Therein lies the balance between motorcycle related or relevant useful information, and pure dribble filling a server.

Considering those "personal attacks between a select few" usually occur in threads that would be lucky to have even 10 active participants, I think all the faux offence being displayed is quite laughable.
