Aussie local scene is suffering the trend is to go to a GP or world Superbike event, thing is, when the WSBK came to nz the racing was so precise there were very few passes, yes the event had hype, and miss manawatu was there but the racing was not 'exciting'.
same with the six hour, what was that all about, as an event it was hard to follow and there was very few 'battles' on the track, yet it drew huge crowds.
yeah I missed the years of WSB over here,I left NZ in 85 for 13 yrs.
The Six hour races weren't my thing but I did involve myself in teams as mech etc. Oh, I did ride in two which were disasters, crashed out of one on Z900 and then did 410 class with Nev H. one year, but he fucked the bike. No, wasn't into endurance stuff.

Puccetti Racing have signed Toprak Razgatlioglu (tricky innit). Reputedly a fast exciting rider - a real talent - if rough around the edges. Guinters misses out.

Bugger. I like Guinters and hoped he would find a home back in WSBK. I can't find out if he will be back in BSB with Suzuki as yet.

Getting Toprak is a great move for Pucetti. That laddie has real talent.

I've always wondered what they looked like. Can't put their shirts on the right way around says a lot though.

    Cheers
