Well shit, I'd heard it was likely but it's going to play merry hell with the calendar for Classic/Post classic racers.
Given the success of the CAMS SCF, it may have made more sense to move the BM to the week following that.
Can the SCF stand alone now ?
The second weekend in feb doesn't make much sense either - the third weekend would have tied in with the Sound of Thunder...

    Paeroa I think

The dates moved to Feb so the Harley riders can progress straight to Field Days three days later.

Is that enough time to get there?

Gives us a week to get to Paeroa so that should work in well. Only problem will be Overcrowding with all the fine weather only riders going down there as well . The weather was the challenge part.
Take Ya sun hat and sun screan ,can't wait . Stay safe on the roads out there this X-mas break.

Definitely the sun down South is harsh, burn is easy, hence a reason to stay indoors at the bar.

We are still talking about Southland weather ... it can be bloody wet and cold (and windy) ... even in the height of the southern summer.

All motorcyclists heading anywhere ... should be prepared for any weather. Many don't. I've seen many drenched specimens of motorcyclists heading to and from "Summer" Rally's ...
