Places to ride around Tauranga

Hi guys,

Heading up to Tauranga for a couple weeks and looking for some trails around there. Have so far heard of Maddix and Pirini. Any others?? We are pretty beginner so anything easy to medium.

Tect park which is on the pyes pa road to rotorua has some trails as well,

Is there any cost to get into that park, found it hard to find information online, looks like it's run by the motorcycle club, you don't have to be a member to get access do you??

Don't have to be a member for the (very short) trails - only the mx tracks.
