Cog Sidi Cobra Air – New with tags - EUR 45/ UK 10/ US 11

Sidi Cobra Air are premium boots which can be worn at the track or daily for touring or commuting.

They have the special ventilation of the air range, along with Sidi’s usual high-end features. Perfect for summer!

I wanted to upgrade from my Oxstars to Sidi Cobra Air so bough these from overseas – but unfortunately they are just too tight for me to wear. I have very wide feet, which are quite swollen due to DVT. However, I think the boots suit a slimmer foot. They are size EUR 45/ UK 10.5/ US 11.

They are unworn and tagged as new, but I no longer have the box. Collection preferred or postage at cost.

Selling at bargain price to fund the Formas I’ve bought as replacements.

Also on trademe - more photos there.

Would prefer collection but would post at buyers cost. Could do local delivery in Auckland for petrol cost.

The boots are well reviewed everywhere, for example:

    ots-review/

“The Sidi Cobra Air boots aren’t waterproof because they’re covered in hundreds of tiny holes—holes that let in a healthy breeze that helps keep your feet cool and dry.
The Cobra Airs are ideally suited for clear weather summer rides and weekends at the racetrack. They offer first class protection in the form of a thermoplastic resin heel box and ankle, rear calf armor, nylon shin guard, bolt on replaceable toe slider, and double stitching to ensure it all stays together.
Like other Sidi boots, the Cobra Air has a dual compound sole that’s stiff and shock absorbent for protection while still being flexible enough that walking isn’t uncomfortable. As mentioned above, the boot’s entire upper is made of perforated Technomicro on the outside with a perforated Teflon treated nylon inner lining. The result is that your feet feel the airflow as soon as the motorcycle gets underway. But what you’ll notice most is that after a long day of riding taking off your boots won’t involve turning your head and trying not to breathe.”

Bugger. I've been looking at the Forma discounts, my Sidi's are getting a bit battered, been great boots. A size to wee, though. You don't fancy doing the Tongariro crossing in them to give them a stretch, do you?..

Got my Forma adventure boots - better for the Tongariro crossing! I'm gonna have to stick to MX style boots as I have such trouble fitting the race style boots. The Oxtars were the only ones I was comfortable in and when I bought the same pair in the same size they didn't fit!
