I suspect they had a vehicle outside with their tools, etc but not one that could transport the bike. Why go through the hassle of spending almost 1 hour hotwiring it? They entered and exited the carpark several times. If you see early on, one of the guys has a backpack while later on he doesn't have it.

One wouldn't be dumb enough to ride on the motorway at night without a helmet, they may have lived close by.

Just seen suspect KTM in central nth island. POL and carjam plate checked, comes back not stolen and plate matches bike type. Just letters different on onset to yours. Said to the missus with finance tho these days you can see anyone in anything these days. (Was in rough neighbourhood)
