I’ve owned this bike for approximately 6 years. It’s been a great bike to ride and own, and it’s never let me down. I’ve put 70 trouble free hours on the bike since I’ve owned it. The bike is in great condition mechanically, the plastics are ok, with some scratches and cracks as usual with a bike this age.
Very fast and very light, this bike is not for the faint-hearted. I clean the air filter after every ride, and replace the gearbox oil approx every 15 hours.
I had the front and rear suspension rebuilt by Linton at Dirt Action Services along with the wheel bearings, swingarm bearings and suspension linkage bearings.
I replaced the piston, rings, gudgeon pin and small end bearing at 58.8 hours, the bore was diamond honed at NZ Cylinders and the Nikasil coating checked. Crank and big end bearing were fine.
I’ve modified or replaced a number of parts to make the bike more suitable for Enduro riding, see list below:

· Wossner piston, rings, small end bearing and gudgeon pin and clips
· Swingarm and suspension linkage bearings replaced
· Front and rear wheel bearings replaced
· Front and rear sprockets and chain replaced
· Plastic chain guides and rollers replaced
· Near new front and rear tires (Goldentyre GT216 - Front, GT333 - Rear)
Also comes with some spares, includes original carb, repaired stock expansion pipe, partially worn rear tyre and a new water pump bearing and seal kit.
