Yeah. I have half the bike apart now checking everything. Not keen on anything falling off.
Just cut the flapper valve out. The mid pipe that has the flapper is very hard and very light. Im trying to work out if its stainless or titanium section. Need the hole and slot welded shut now. The original muffler have been reworked and are also very light. Basically straight through baffles. Ground of all the shroud tabs so need find some high temp paint suitable for ally next.

I think the next Manfeild track day is 4 weeks away so hopefully it will be ready.

Got sick of the connector pipe and mufflers so ordered and new muffler and pipes down to the headers today.

Tacho unit is less inner glass and speedo lcd.

Rear set constructed from best bits from 2 sets.

Cleaned up some of the burnt paint from belly pan to have a look. Checked out stock bike and it has open area around cat but this race fairing has a collection area for oil etc so I dont want to cut it if possible. Hopefully the cat removal pipe will have good clearance from fairing as other race bikes have not been cut.

Cut some excess heat shroud off the left hand side where there wont be a muffler anymore.
Cut finger on the sharp edge while trying to make it smooth and safe to touch.

Is the bottle a lot smaller than the stock one?

I too bleed the brakes in my track bike tonight. Was a bit of bugger but got there.

I think it is smaller but since it was sold to me without one I cant confirm. It holds about twice what an average rear res would in volume.
I bought a $15 bleed kit from supercheap 5 years ago and it makes brake bleed easy. They still sell them.

http://www.supercheapauto.co.nz/Prod...261/SPO1352876 Looks like they are $9 now.

Oh I got it sorted, I have a pressure bleed system. Just had a bubble stuck in the Mcyl which moved when I finally moved when I aimed the Mcyl down.

Quick trip to the Garage to install new battery and the left front fork seal is leaking. Guess they are going to need doing also.
