Maybe next time someone could hold on to the stupid bitch until the cops arrive..? It's fantastic to hear about someone getting a smack in the gob for something that richly deserves it (especially when she's using her kid to thieve and teaching it thievery at the same time) but that sort of shit should go on her permanent record. And sadly, if she is the sort of person who plays the system, she could also use it to get your friend done for assault.
    F*cked, innit?

Call me old fashioned but I really do miss the old ways of dealing with this stuff. Time was when you could do this kind of friendly action in recovering stolen property and everyone would say "thanks, good for you, well done, etc" now they call you vigilante, foolish and then you get charged with assault!
I still say "good on your friend", biarch was lucky it was only one smack not more. Tell your friend about how good elbows are too!
they almost never hurt afterwards either!

Yeah wolf that really sucks but as Zed says,it's the world we live in.
But on a slightly brighter note,I left my wallet on the roof of my car at the gas station at Wairaki last year.Drove off an remembered it about 50 km up the road.went back for a look "fat chance".
Anyway the next day I rang Taupo police because my firearms licence was in there an the photo could be anyone it's that bad.
It was handed in the afternoon I lost it,complete with the $200 I had in it.
    Maybe they was tourists huh.

Thanks people for ya kind words of understanding. I'm not going to justify that my mate's reaction to seeing the lowlife with my bag was acceptible or right, however had I been the person to find the scum with my bag she would have got much worse than a punch in the chops. Yes, we are on a tight budget and this pay was the first pay in ages that I could finally have a bit of spending money and I thought it would be nice to be able to get wolf an anniversary gift for next thursday. (as we have been married for 3 years on the 13th) But due to this, it's going to be the first anniversary that I have not given wolf a gift. The perfect girt for wolf that I can hope for now is that the scan that I have on the 13th tells us that we are expecting a healthy baby girl. [/ ]

I didn't say I approved of Juliet's mate walloping the bitch in the face. If I'd've caught her I would've checked the bag and demanded she give back the money and the smokes or her demon-spawn gets to see his old lady led off in handcuffs.

I'd've had the bitch arrested in front of her kid, no worries.

Even if we did find out who it was, Juliet's mate is now worried that she'll get done for assault.

I said it after lunch and I'll say it again.

If the silly cow was going to hit the thieving bitch, she should have smashed her but good.. Getting done for assault for one punch would suck, at least if she'd smashed all her teeth out it'd be worth the conviction :slap:
