Meetup at Phillip Island MotoGP

There's a few threads on meeting and going to the Phillip Island MotoGP. This is aimed solely at finding out who WILL be meeting up there.

I suggest we meet at 8pm on Saturday night (thanks hondav2) at the wharf near the road (just before going into the band area on the wharf.)

when do you guys get into town(Melbourne)??
I'm going down on the Saturday with the family but going back home Saturday night, will be riding down Sunday morning(early) and will be at the track all day......r u guys camping at the track or ??

I'll be in Melbourne all day Saturday. Driving to the track early Sunday morning.

I'm a bit worried, only a week to go and I haven't really got excited about it yet ?!

We will be at track from... as soon as we can get there from the camper van depot (opens at 8am) guess around 11am!!! staying untill monday

... then a night in Melbourne followed by flights to Auckland on Tuesday

Less than a week to go ( we leave here Thursday night) and I can hardly sleep

Don't worry Matt, as soon as you hit the first bike shop the excitment will set in!!

I've really only started to get excited in the last couple of days, now I've got some Aus $$$ burning a hole in my hot little hand!!

GSXR1000 - we land 7.00am Thursday. Will be in a camper van, staying at AMaze'n Things camping ground in the evenings. We'll be at the track all day Fri/Sat/Sun. Spending most of Thurs in the bike shops in Melbourne before heading down to the Island Thurs avo.

We are at Quays Motel at San Remo . Its on left half way down the hill going into San Remo call in if your around, will b there from about late afternoon Thursday. We are Alan and Gayle Todd Cheers Toddy

going down early Sunday morning may call in and wake you up.....well by the time I get to San Remo it will probably be around 9-9.30am.....do you know which room you are in??

We'll be there Thursday. Get into Melbourne Thursday early am, grab the car and drive to Cowes... We'll have Monday to Friday to tiki-tour around greater Melbourne and visit bike shops (when those pesky motorcyclists aren't there).
