What gearing are you guys running on your 400's? I took mine on the motorway for the first time on Sunday and it was screaming at 115kph. I believe my rear is a 41T sprocket. You recommend going back to the 39?

    Any spare SM wheels?

    Hi all.

I've a 400e and I'm wanting to try the SM side of life. Any of you have a set of SM wheels/tyres that are just lying around?

    Cheers

I experimented with a 39 and a 42 iirc. Went back to factory. Sell you a hardly used 39 if you want!

I'll keep that in mind SV. The previous owner did send me the original sprocket. Just need to check that it's 39. Getting passed by Starlets and Notes was embarrassing.

Gumtree (the Aussie TradeMe equivalent) always has lots of DRZ parts.

Who has upgraded to the FCR39mm carb? Worthwhile mod?

Not mine, a guy on Thumpertalk. He painted it with Dupli-Color hi-build fleet coating. Looks the balls.

    DRZ400SM Fuel Injected

    Hi,
I have heard that the FCR39 is the carb to have, I priced one and then decided that fuel injection was the way to go!

The bike runs great (after some tuning) the TB is a Keihin 38MM item from a QUAD. I have a full Yoshi RS2 exhaust. I run a wideband O2 sensor and use a MicroSquirt ECU

    Cheers
