    I like observatories, after visiting a few around the place, I got invited to the observatory in Cornwall Park, which I haven't been to in twenty or more years - they had a really knowledgable woman there who made it a pretty good experience. They're all volunteers, and most have been there for a decade or so. It meant even curly questions weren't able to stump them, and I learned a few nerdy things.

    It's not world class exactly, but the experience is. Well worth a visit.
