    Southern Fatbob

Hi all just joined and have a question I have a 2009 fatbob and are looking at changing rear shocks. I have the issue of being too light (68kgs) and get a lot of jarring up my back going over uneven road potholes, bridges etc and shocks are set on softest setting . any ideas thanks

A Harley guy that isn't +XL size. Rare breed

I can't really help other than to suggest in the meantime you drop your tyre pressure a few PSI.

    Welcome.

Yeah - by all accounts they are pretty shit to start with but bound to be designed for 'Merican' riders somewhat heavier than yourself. Indeed I suspect some of those 250 kg fat bastards probably produce about 68 kg of shit in a day.....

Anyway these guys will definitely have the ability to sort it out, http://kiwirider.co.nz/ckt/

A mate had his fettled by KSS, OHLINS ETC, only can do so much with 75mm of suspension travel though,
Ended up trading on a BMW R1200r, very happy, each to their own though.
Political Correctness, the chief weapon of whiney arse bastards
