The following list of motorcycles with engine capacities between 251cc and 660cc – these motorcycles must be in standard form as produced by the manufacturer. They cannot be modified in any way to increase the power-to-weight ratio.

Ull see that the section above applies to above 250cc only...

I realise I'm showing my age in the post above - if you prefer boys I'm sure Google has them as well

    Or transsexuals.

I'm struggling to keep up with how many identification genders there are now days.

This bit does not necessarily fit that bit anymore.

    LAMS-approved motorcycles include:

All motorcycles with engine capacities of 250cc and under, except for those on the LAMS-prohibited list above.
The following list of motorcycles with engine capacities between 251cc and 660cc – these motorcycles must be in standard form as produced by the manufacturer. They cannot be modified in any way to increase the power-to-weight ratio.
250cc and under are automatically approved. Unless they are on the prohibited list. The official LAM's list ... is the 251cc to 660cc range of approved motorcycles.

Again, not correct, directly from the page you linked:

Motorcycles under 250cc most definitely are included in the LAMS list and NZTA are very specific about this.

I don't know why this is so hard for some people to understand.

Maybe for people whom English is a second language, like FJRider, should just refrain from commenting.
