Plenty of (online) motorcycle wreckers in NZ that would probably sell you the correct ignition barrel for about $5.

Caution, the ignition barrel might've been removed on purpose. They usually do this when the exhaust bearings are on the way out, I'd get them checked before you start it up.

You should get a scooter, it'll change your view of the world. Farmers have this one on special, if it's out of your budget KmArt have this one and I'm pretty sure they still do lay-buys too.
