Not sure what it is about MT09 owners in Wellington.
They always seem to want to race every bike they see.
Wonder if its a problem world wide.

Indeed, I think it's the type of bike that hooligans like to ride...

But you wont see me trying that sort of thing, never raced anybody, and never will.

Pointless waste of gas if you ask me...

Ive had the same. 2 of them out by the airport go nuts each time they see another rider. Odd.

Am I asking too much, or does nobody seem to want MT 09s?

Or, maybe the link has expired as ellipsis pointed out.

And to the OP - tyres are not modifications - they are consumables.

modifications may not interest all. What is certain is that the full monetary value wont be returned, but may be the reason the bike is bought by someone.

Indeed it is a matter of taste and desirability.

A name brand aftermarket can is popular.

    Pink flames not so.

Fair point, but I just thought id mention it as a selling point, as quality tyres are expensive, and that's just one less thing that needs changing anytime soon.

Appreciate all of the advice and opinions thus far guys, thanks

It's like selling/buying a house... put in a new kitchen? House is more 'saleable' you wont get your money back.

The bike HAS to have an exhaust, bars, indicators, seat etc, yes you've changed them because YOU wanted them, not because the 'actually' improve the bike.
The two posters are BOTH right re 'buying a bike with mods'

some will not look at a modded bike unless they are known 'improvement' mods that are done by most owners to change a deficit of the design.

Certain people WILL look at a bike with your type of mods. Mods wont make it worth more tbh.
