"Boy Racers" TV3

Who saw these mouth-breathers last night?
These single cell morons don't have the simple comprehension to realise that you don't go bragging about baiting cops into chases on nationwide TV. And what a crew they were, cold sores proudly displayed. One looked like he had lipstick on. If you produced something like that, you'd have to get a vasectomy immediately.
The Police spooksperson, for once, made sense. These guys must be getting media training.
The problem for us though, is that we get caught up in the laws that populist pollies pass to 'fix' the boy racer problem.

Made me ashamed to be from Chch but pleased to be far away from those morons. The dipstick bragging about running red lights at 180kph down Moorhouse Ave. Hope like hell he never reproduces, I've got more intelligent lifeforms growing in my garden.

Yeah but they where cool mate!

Funny when the one said its for the girls.

But it also made me think the more the cops concentrate on them the least amount time they are going to spend chasing down the bikes ........... and other crimes.

Ratings - the reason I don't watch TV....it means the couch potatoes get to watch what the want,fuck the people who want quality.

Yea - ever notice that the programmes you want to watch always get bumped to accommodate the latest 2 hour screening of (pick any crap/'reality' show)

Current programming seems to be following the path of entertaining LCD...

Lowest Common Denominator.

MotoGP, TopGear, Monster Garage & Doctor Who when it's on is about all I bother with nowadays.

Usually it's Motoracing bumped, or dropped altogether, to accommodate some oval ball sport.

Pity they don;t bother doing MotoGP live anymore, and the midnight showing getting pushed to Tuesday mornings. BY then I've usually accidentally got the results.

Back to the mouthbreathers though - anything that keeps the heat off us is OK in my book.

On the subject of "reality" TV... how many people REALLY want to watch some geezer get his outhouse repainted and renovated...buggered if I can fathom it.

The truth is nobody does. At least not the LCD or the majority. Reality TV is very cheap to produce and very cheap to buy. Shows like 'Dancing with the stars' and 'Pop Idol' are extremely cheap to produce.

Im unimformed but will continue anyway - Telecom would pay large amounts of money to have the priviledge of giving the consumers the choice to promote some nobodies career cause they look pretty. Mitre10 for supplying building materials to someone that viewers can identify with...its a vicious circle.

I wish I had SKY so i can watch Discovery, History and National Geo channel..oh and the MotoGP.

Bin the TV folks, and turn on the radio (only non-commercial stations mind! Commercial radio rots your brain too!) Glad my eyes and neurones were not assaulted by the sight that is spoken of here...

Oh yeah - with those exceptions. I need me a TV box to plug into my Powerbook for them...But for now it's the National Programme all the way...
