    741 Indian Tyres

    Tyres...........

Any suggestions for a NZ Army Indian 741. I want old school. I have Dunlop K82's rear tyres on my BMW sidecar that look and work fine.

I remember the Valentines ads where tyres for them were 15/- (fifteen shillings, children) and I think an Army Indian was around twenty quid....

Man should have bought a few of them....

They were advertising that shit until the mid 1950's.

We were a motorcycling family and the old man always thought it was hilarious.

Funny - like the GN250 - been around since 1982 and still available new!

Brought a pair of Dunlop K70's. The Firestones were going to take ages to get here and I want it running for the military vehicle club camp at easter in Gisborne.

I would say he is about my age.... My dad rode a J type Harley, a Panther and raced a gold star.

Who the fuck buys calendars - I don't plan any further ahead than the current TV Guide....

Funnily enough, while I've owned a Goldie, I've never raced one. My iron B33/Manx was quicker than any Goldie I came up against.

Funny that, the family Iron B33 when tickled up also was faster than most Goldies it came up against....

Grumph is as old as SantaClaus. In fact there's a rumour, and now I think of it, I have not seen them in the same room. . , and then there's that beard. . .
