Shucks....kneeling in a freaking cold stream in the middle of winter paid off. The dude on the wee-strom needs a medal for where he took that thing. Big River, south of Reefton.
Cheers guys.

Many thanks for the votes everyone! The Nitro Circus put on a fantastic show and I was glad to be able to capture a few nice shots.

Awesome pic Mr. WT
If you can make it on Kiwibiker you can make it anywhere.
Aint that a pic he stole off Carver ?
A girlfriend once asked " Why is it you seem to prefer to race, than spend time with me ?"
The answer was simple ! "I'll prolly get bored with racing too, once i've nailed it !"
Bowls can wait !
Lol. Seven years old and that photo's still doing the biz BRM used that shot as the cover for the first NZ road test of the K4 GSXR600.
Jimbo600 (Should be now Jimbo450???) was the awesome lensman, thanks to him and all the locals for allowing us to close the road to get the shot.

Great pic,I remember that article, were'nt you (ahem)running it in for a local racer by the name of Bruns?.And if I remember right did he not kick arse on a wet and greasy Cemetery Circuit one year and then just seemed to dissapear from the race scene. What did become of him?
Yup, yup and yup. Johann's and me are still great mates. He still works in the workshop at Wellington Motorcycles and restores old Jap bikes from time to time, much like me.
As for why he stopped racing, after pouring twice what he earnt each year into each season's racing, he woke up one morning and realised he wasn't having fun anymore, which was the whole reason for reacing bikes in the first place. Pulled the pin there and then.
