Suspension vs rider weight for size of bike

I'm 5'11 85kg looking at getting back into riding again after a few years out. Only for track/trail fun on weekends etc. I'm dead set on a 2-stroke, either sx125/250 or yz125/250. My question is if I went for the 125 option, is it possible to set suspension for a 80-90kg rider on them or is it a waste of time? Or should I just go straight for the 250 option? I've heard 250 2 strokes are pretty gnarly to jump straight back into. If I'm gonna be pushing the weight limit on the 125 I would rather learn fast on a 250. Idk. I'm at a crossroads.

Suspension set up is the same , doesn't matter if 125 or 250.

i am 6 foot, and 83kg, i run a 125 with heavy springs, most 125's will be too lightly sprung for your weight, most 250's should be pretty cloe to the right springs,

no matter what weight you are, getting the suspension valved and sprung for your weight, ability and riding you do will be the best money you spend on the bike,
