    Handy dany 80s/90s GSX750 info.

    Added a bit about the EZ. Looks like the first version produced never had the twin swirl combustion chamber head. Something I never knew. hope this info helps someome.

    The first GSX750 was the ET model - 16 valve & twin swirl etc. Some US sources keep mixing up the GS and GSX specs because they were all referred to as GS models.
    The best way to forget all your troubles is to wear tight underpants.

    That was always my understanding but I wonder if there was a Jap maket model with the 16 valve motor without TSCC, with that market having a max 750cc rating at the time. Found a couple of references by sites put up by Japanese recently. Here's a pick of my current EX

    Tidy looking X model - comes with it's own guard dog too.
    Never heard of a pre T model 16 valve, but I suppose anything was possible in the Jap market. That would mean a major head redesign for the non twinswirl job.
    I once had a shiney new T model GSX750 when they came out, but managed to drop it on both sides on a trip to Wanganui races. 3 days old it was

    Yeah and 4 muts either side of us. Still got to sort a few little issues out on the old girl. Just found a complete ET at a wreckers I may be able to get bits and bobs for. Hell, may even be able to get the whole bike if I'm lucky.
