    Exhaust header gaskets

Do I need to use steel/copper that you get from the manufacturers/workshops or can I use ones you can get from Supercheap etc?

Have taken the header pipes off an old GN250 and want to replace the gaskets (I am assuming none were on there in the first place unless they are really jammed in there and you cannot get them out easily)

Oh, based in AKL on the shore if that is of any use....cheers

I'm pretty sure its these http://www.moto1.nz/vesrah-14181-033...t-30-35-ve3001

Its 2007 GN250 but on the parts numbers websites the years seem to stop in the early 2000's.

quite likely your dealer will have some in stock, if not then they will get them, saves buying 10 at a time, us price is $4.97 each, generally suzuki nz are close to that, or maybe cheaper if they on sell the aftermarket type.
learn to sort this stuff today and next time you're not here getting spoonfed or maybe advising others...

There's the answer! Forget the gaskets, just use a bit of the offcut wrapping! There's probably heaps left over...

Don't forget to pick the old ones out. Looking with a torch and they will be there just compressed to uselessness.
