...does work have to be involved...can I just go for a ride?...
Hate to disappoint anyone here, but Monday coming is a rostered day off. I will be going for a ride, but I sure as heck ain't going in the direction of work you silly buggers!
Guys, as a retiree I really don't care if you ride to work or just go for a ride...
if it's fine then I'll be out for a ride and, like ellipsis, there'll be no work involved apart from stressing about whether it'll be ginger crunch or some other sticky to have with the mid-ride coffee.
Rozzers having a day off? Whatever next?!
Bit of a non-event for me. Every work day is a ride to work day. I'd have to be mad to take a car or public transport on my commute.

I certainly didn't take your comment as a negative or critical comment. On the contrary, I would have agreed with you when I was still in the workforce - I never looked forward to having to take the car on the days I had to, you just can't filter in one or use bus lanes!
If anything, I see Ride to Work day as an acknowledgement of those who, like yourself, ride every day no matter what the weather. And an opportunity to raise awareness.
Damn, just finished washing and polishing the truck, now I'm gunna have to leave it at home tomorrow and tell the boss, I'm on duty but biked up no truck!
Lucky me, my boss won't mind a bit.
Every day above ground is a good day!:
Just proves North Islanders don;t know what a winter is ....
Smack in the middle of winter a ride to work day.
