This got it just offered to him when he was at the farm looking to buy an old Farmall tractor, basically a barn find.
The as a kid the neighbour had a 125 he used for work, then one of the daughters used it for school & work and then the son used for school....couldn't kill the poor bugger; it was a soft yellow with a black stripe down the center you'd hear the tires droning on the tar seal before you heard the motor

If I had room I'd bring the Mudbug down for a bit of flat-track action.

Got a couple of acres of bare land that I could fit a decent circuit into The neighbours might moan a bit but the one on the south boundary is a knuckle dragging mouth breather anyhow so I couldn't give a rats arse about him

    Do it!

I started off with an oval in the side paddock, complete with added dimension of it being on a slope. I had loads of fun on the Mudbug doing that loop as fast as I could with no brakes and shit tyres but got bored eventually so bought a KLX450R. I've got half a dozen acres of hilly paddocks & wetland and now have a couple of MX style loops, a-la Mr Death Inc. The best days ever these days consist of a mini Coro Loop on the ZX12 followed by an hour or so of mud, jumps & skids on the 450.

Used to years ago on the old XR500 when there weren't so many houses in the township but soon as a few places got built the attitude of some changed so ended up doing imitation long track speedway on the trotting track over at the domain
Death Inc haven't heard that name for a while

    Hahahaha...cheers guys!

Do eeeet. As a kid, big muddy paddocks and the balloon tyres made me appreciate all things traction. That, and learning on sand, and on the road with same balloon tyres...helped me no end I reckon!

Bill, thanks a Mill for all of your help and efforts so far.

Three words for you Kim: Dirt Quake. Google. My favourites are the utterly unsuitable bikes: Captain America choppers and such

No probs Pete, though I was a bit annoyed having navigate the Clandeboye bend twice within a 1/2hr and not being on my bike
Ha I've already got half the township traumatised with what I get upto on 12 & when I crank the XS up, they really think I've lost it if I started ripping it up with the RV

It's a nice one and the wee sod will have just stuck it away in his shed, probably got it leaning up against one of his vintage tractors

I have a neighbour with ambitions to be you...rented house on around 30 perch section down a back drive in the middle of a quiet rural village...
Comes home from his farm job and pulls out either his biggish motard or the quad...both loud.
Proceeds to lap the section for around an hour or till it gets too dark for safety.

Property owner may get a surprise at the next inspection.

My landlord is sweet with it, possibly due to the condition of the land, possibly due to me being a fecking awesome tenant.

We have an 8-month old Irish Setter pup and a couple of weeks ago we discovered that he has a love for running beside me on the dirt bike. It's without a doubt the best way to wear a high-energy dog out and 15 minutes of him chasing the bike is probably on par with a couple of days of walking. The problem we have now is that all i have to do is start the KLX up and he's going spastic and damn near jumping through windows so he doesn't miss out.
