Down size and drop an XR750 into it - Harley's stupid head set up means they can't breath too good,get a real intake system.

In order of cost effectiveness;
Exhaust/Air cleaner. A new ign module as well will give a better advance curve and raise the rpm limit.
Carb
Cams (Not cheap there's 4)
Headwork.

Drop an R1 engine in it

It should reach termanal velocity if you drop it out of a plane

de-chrome it should save about 1/2 a Ton

Tighten the rubber bands

Feed the hamster

S&S do an 89 ci motor for the sporty, that'll make the fucker fly. Yours being the "S" already, there's probably very little you can do to it to make it go better than it does.

You've done the filter, pipes? Later model "S"s had cams and heads different as standard.
