    The widow maker

Black and Chrome as new condition. Couple of scratches on left hand side fariing as fell off side stand. Mind blowing performance and handling. I've owned it 17 years and bought it with 573km on clock and love it so much! A real head turner as it still looks brand new! Pack and pack frame
alpine star boots, pants and jacket. Shoei helmet, several sets of gloves blah blah blah New tires, professionally set up engine and suspension. Reluctant urgent sale of my baby $5000 ono

Widow Maker was the Kawasaki 750 Mach lV (original H2). Thought you had a real bike for sale there for a minute.

    Regardless, GLWS

A fifty something stoner is going to love that bike, as long as you're prepared to swap it for several half finished projects & a bag of weed.

A ZZR1100D with less than 20,000km on it for $5,000? That might just sell.

    Pics would help.

Kawasaki never produced a model called the Widowmaker so whoever told you this was dreaming.

While your statement is also correct re the '69 H1, the 1972 H2 was the first bike the magazines generally termed the Widow Maker, mainly because of the death rate of factory testers, for some reason the H1 was later also known as the Widow Maker. I am quite happy to think either is 'correct' but have many mags of that vintage and have none pre 72 H2 suggested any bike termed Widow Maker. If you have one I would love the article for my Kawasaki archives. Thank you

what about EJ Potters bike then more famous than any Kawasaki, or does motorcycling history begin and end in your magazines?

I think a lot of those old magazines are full of what is not called " fake news"

Like really how did the Norton Commando win Bike of the Year in MCN for 5 or so years, for starters the BMW R90/S is a far better bike hands down.
DeMyer's Laws - an argument that consists primarily of rambling quotes isn't worth bothering with.

I was competing at the Santa Pod UK meeting where EJ Potter stuffed it into the fence halfway down the strip. Huge cojones, that man!

I think you need to google "the blitz" it was only 30 years after WW2, the Brits were still rather annoyed with the Germans at that point.
Handing out prizes for kicking their arses at engineering wasn't at the top of their list, regardless of how much I agree with you.
