Thought one of the Vincents was the original Widowmaker motorcycle.
Yeah, I always thought it was the Colt Peacemaker?

Maybe the OP just has a pet name for his bike. I call my bikes all sorts of names, most of which I couldn't possibly repeat in such a highbrow, highly regarded publication such as KB
Anyway, I think everyone is studiously ignoring the big pink elephant in the room.
How the hell does one of these things make windows?
especially when tied up

That was the Peacemaker not the widow maker, like the name says. I'd say Peacemaker was written on the box except the box would have "Single Action Army" written on it. The SAA didn't come out until all the real wild west stuff was pretty much on the decline, whatever Hollywood says.
FWIW I agree with the people who nominated the Kawasaki triples as that coincides with my memory of events.

The term widow maker has been coined about so many inanimate objects, it just depends on where you identify with it most. Bikes aren't even in my top three...
Some of us think of this: http://www.accuracyinternational.com/ax-rifle-systems/
BMW aleady has a model its called the M3

pretty sure it was because it had effective radar and was able to sneak up at night on other aircraft.

a few other are too i think.B-26 crews gave the aircraft the nickname "Widowmaker". Other colorful nicknames included "Martin Murderer", "Flying Coffin", "B-Dash-Crash", "Flying Prostitute" (so-named because it was so fast and had "no visible means of support," referring to its small wings) and "Baltimore Whore" (a reference to the city where Martin was based).

McDonnell Douglas AV-8B Harrier IIGrieving widows sued Lockheed from 1969, and by 1975 more than thirty of them had received 3 million DMs each.[70] Hence the F-104 became known as Witwenmacher ("The Widowmaker") in West Germany. Some operators lost a large proportion of their aircraft through accidents, although the accident rate varied widely depending on the user and operating conditions
Odd according to the USAF it had lowest combat loss rate of any US aircraft used during the war.The AV-8 was dubbed a "widow maker" by some in the military
