Whats just as crazy to me is when you look at their actual job descriptions or experience most of them wont even be climate scientists or even related to that.


Also at the top it says 23000 subscribed.

I mean how many "scientists" do we have in NZ alone? Must be easily heading up towards the tens in thousands.

And then if you assume if any old joker can sign it I bet half of them are simply climate activists or students anyway. I can see atleast one student listed in the pic above too!!!

You may have seen the press release we did yesterday on this matter, as it is not only the ruling government that is supporting the Zero Carbon Bill, but the National Party as well. If you haven't seen it yet you can read it here.

On Wednesday of next week there is a peaceful gathering in Wellington being organised against all the stuff aimed at rural NZ, but in particular the Zero Carbon Bill, the loss of farms to forestry and the proposed water regulations. Three of us are travelling down from Auckland/Northland to be present as we want to let the farmers know they have our support, whether we are farmers or not. The organisers expect a large crowd.

The gathering will take place at 11am on Thursday 14th of November starting at Civic Square, before marching to Parliament arriving at 1pm. "

Tell the rural folk to stop being such princesses ffs. The zero carbon bill will affect all of us. Doing business unsustainably is going to finish in the future, get used to it. Climate change, habitat destruction and the biodiversity crisis are not a left wing or right wing thing, they are actual real things and need fixing.
