To be fair the current bunch are running the country like its some half baked, intermediate school class project.
That makes the last crowd toddlers then.
Lets lok at some actual facts
NZ hasn't borrowed massively every year like the previous government did. so there is a pretty big tick
They havent sold off the countries assets either.
Nor does the latest trust in government survey back what you say. it reflects a 12% increase in trust that the government does the right things.
we can compare this to the USAIts findings run counter to the decline of trust in democratic political institutions as seen within many countries.
Asked whether they trust the government to do what is right for New Zealand, 65 per cent now answered ‘yes’ compared with 48 per cent in 2016. A total of 59 per cent say they trust government to deal successfully with national problems, up from 47 per cent in 2016. Furthermore, 49 per cent think New Zealand citizens’ interests are equally and fairly considered by the government, up from 39 per cent.

So Kiwis trust their current government twice as much as yanks do.Only a third of Americans now trust their government “to do what is right”—a decline of 14 percentage points from last year,

Kinky is using a feather. Perverted is using the whole chicken
So you're perfectly cool with them taking the policy they harvested the most votes from & going, fuck it, it's too hard & chucking it out the window?
I don't want a bunch of rhetoric, just want to know if you're fine with it so I can come to my own conclusions.
Democracy is about having policies that harvest the most votes. Its kind of the point of it.
That policy wasn't what got them in, but selling off all the houses and saying its to build more when they never did was what got the nats out, that along with hundreds of other broken promises
But you can always tell when someone is attempting to buy their way in they will promise tax cuts then pay for them with borrowing. Leaving the bill for future generations to pay for them.

Or they may take a misguided crack the property development business, make a ten year promise & just flag it away at around 5% of their commitment, completely letting down those that voted for them, in the hope of a better future for themselves & their families.
It's a pretty shit thing to do to your supporters, you can polish that turd until you're tired, but it won't change my take on it.
Maybe you should ask how many of the people that voted for labour did so because of anything to do with Kiwi-build.
I think you will find it was more to do with stopping another 4 years of assets sales and overseas borrowing.
But i don't know why you are so worried about what labour does .
you would be better served sorting out a decent leader for the National party, as they will not win an election under Simon Bridges.
Nor will they win one with Judy Collins. No mater how much lippy they dress her up with, kiwis still remember her last time at the trough.

It's funny....
In the Firearm thread - he's all 'DEMOCRACY! WILL OF THE PEOPLE! 80% AGREE!' - yet when referencing one of Labours Key campaign promises that they've utterly failed to deliver on, suddenly it's somehow Nationals Fault and the Will of the People isn't a factor.
Just pointing out the ever-so-principled stances that Husa is taking on these issues
/sarcasm.
