I just bought an AGV k3 sv helmet from Moto1 (http://www.moto1.nz/) the helmet seems in good condition, but the rear doesn't show any DOT or ece ratings, this is what the rear of the helmet looks like:
Is this fake or a real helmet?

The standards label will be inside, directly on the shell liner, under the padding. Just peel the cheek pads and/or crown liner out and it'll pop into view.
Looks ok to me. Must admit my latest Shoei has basically a brand label with lots of guff on it, along with an inspection label showing date of manufacture etc. Couple of my earlier helmets had an actual "Complies to AS whatever the number was" alongside the brand label.
Have you asked the retailer?
On my Shoei the standards label is on the chinstrap, neatly tucked into the padding.
The probability that a NZ retailer has supplied a fake is very very low, unless they're purchasing through dodgy third party overseas distributors.
Worry not about the lack of a DOT label, that's a US thing and will normally only be found on a helmet purchased in the USA. My NZ sourced Arai doesn't have one, nor did any of my other helmets purchased here. My Arai ex USA does sport a DOT sticker.
There is a grey blur, and a green blur. I try to stay on the grey one. - Joey Dunlop
Just remember that a Helmet with just DOT certified is not acceptable for Racing here in NZ now.
ECE label is the chinstrap normally the one with circled e logo
