    Gsx1100

    Hi I'm new to this I've got some old Suzuki 1100s one of them has frame number gs110x100227
    Has wire wheels does anyone out there have bike with similar numbers.as my gsx1100ex has frame gs110x512xxx.also have a 750 katana with a 1100 motor and a gsx1100ed.any info would be good

    Has the wire wheel one got slide carbs or CVs?

    Gsx1100

    Hi it had cv carbs when I brought it.i have some 32mm slide carbs for it.it must of been raced at some stage as all the bungs have drill holes in them it was made 8/80 and the wheels have 8/80
    Stamped on them.

    Even with the CVs it's still possible that it's an Australian market Black Piper.

    You're going to have to be more specific on the carbs. It is possible that it's a black piper that has been civilised for road use with CV's - equally, I know of two SI guys racing the 1100's who were offered conversion kits at the time.

    I'd like a look at what you've got at some point - I come to town weekly at least.

    Hi no problem my email is danandmels@gmail.com.i have 4 1100s 1980gsx1100 1981 ex 32000 original km gsx1100ed 34000km and a katana 750 with 1170 engine all these bikes have wire wheels except ed.

    I'll contact you next week. Judging by the numbers you have, I've probably worked on at least one of them. I had several tweaks for the 1100's which meant I saw a lot of them back in the day.
