    Seem like the same size as Honds Cubs so they will still be in production.

    Thanks for the link. Yes, I think most of the early bikes had ribs on the front and blocky looking rears. Dealer pamphlets mostly back that up too.

    Last couple of VCC Canty swap meets, someone's had quantities of tyres for the Cubs. I'd assume someone's bringing in the OE fitment type rubber.

    If you're actually going to ride it - and particularly if you're going to ride it vigorously - BT39's will go on those rims. Sticky as...

    Found them on trademe and through the local bike shop no problem - they cost peanuts..

    Fun bike - I miss the one we had...

    Duro/Kenda used to do a model of tire in the appropriate sizes....think it was called Classic with a ribbed front & the block rear cheap as peanuts

    Forbes & Davies have got them
