    Mixing slicks with treaded tyres

Last time I was at Manfeild, I saw a couple of guys with a mix of slicks and treaded tyres on their bikes (ie slick on front or back and a treaded tyre on the other rim). They didnt appear to have any problems on the track that I could see but I was just wondering what the affects of this pratcice really are and is it good to go or a no no?.

Yeah nah. Last time I did that I fell off.

Although it was wet and I couldn't find the spacer needed to fit the rear wet wheel. Does that count?
Don't you look at my accountant.
He's the only one I've got.
