    Custom built suits?

Have some racers got custom built suits? Or maybe a license to modify some suits.

They don't look like commercially sold dainese/a*/revit/rocket suits.

(Not talking about all the plugs... the suit itself)

Yes, in most cases the suits are custom built to the rider at high level competition racing.

But theyre not like completely original suits are they? That video shows a custom built alpinestars gp tech v2 suit, and motogp riders with dainese wear a custom built mugello suit.

The reason I ask is because some of the suits the tt racers for example wear dont look remotely like any other suit ive ever seen before.

There are some very talented race suit tailors on the IOM, but that is a long way to go...recommend, but still a long way...

The pro riders wear suits made from kangaroo skin which is thinner than cowhide for the same protection. Most suits amateurs buy are cowhide and just don't look or fit the same.

Also many may use their own designers as they do with helmets. All Rossi's stuff is designed by Aldo Drudi.

You yes YOU are limited only buy your imagination and pocket bookThere are motorcycle leather makers in NZ who will make whatever you like.Of course all the main brands will have similar versions of what they already make. But you can get whatever you want if you want to pay someone to do it
