This is what can happen when you power past/through a Give Way or Stop sign. The rider was found inside the car with the two teenage female that were in the car. The driver was texting.

I don't even have to look at the photo to know which one it is. It's been around a lot.longer than cellphones. It just gets trotted out as a new road safety message comes along.

If you can't see your way through! there isn't one.
Don't shoot the gap! or, as It would say " accelerate into a develo[ping situation to get out the other side quicker ".

IIRC it was on the motorcycle safety stand at the Birmingham bike show around about then. When all the new bikes go on display in the UK.

Yep, a good reminder to look at what's happening on the road ahead of you and that right of way when you're dead is pretty worthless, and accelerating into trouble is only likely to make things worse.

Yep, a good reminder to look at what's happening on the road ahead of you and that right of way when you're dead is pretty worthless, and accelerating into trouble is only likely to make things worse.

Or alternatively, don't ride your crotch rocket like a dick.

Hardly surprising. Actions and consequences.

I do not know conclusively the mechanics of the accident. Mobile phone was mentioned when it turned up in this thread. Some explanations of the photograph state the bike was speeding.

Whatever. You can't beat physics.
