what ya building Jimmy?
Must be a V8 powered time machine. I think he means the flatslides used on early GSXR1100's - not GS1000's.
Initially a few sets of 36's came in. Then everyone realised that they could get 38's and 40's for pretty much the same price.
36's are still pretty scarce. Still available new from Sudco. Not cheap.
Hmmmm you dont want to know... I'm about 800 hrs into a v6 two stroke...
Well, you don't want RS's - they don't adapt well to 2 strokes. Later individual flatslides - Mikuni TM's or Keihin PWK - are far more tunable.
Fully researched and do-able...there are other options but they come with some downsides. initial tuning will be done with a yz 125.
Cheers - ive seen the laverda site.i've earmarked some in the us but shipping and exchange rates are eyewatering...If none surface in nz i'll have to bite the bullet.
Ok it was a bit of a tall order... if any one has a set i could measure the physical dimensions of it would be much appreciated, before i commit a big lump of $$ to e bay . cheers
try posting in the post classic section maybe, also do you do facebook? if so there are sites there that are very active.
Cool! i've only just seen your reply and have sent a pm cheers
There's been no response from oldfart1 - it seems he's joined up and made a couple of posts then vanished. doesn't a pm go to his regular inbox? if anyone has a good idea on how i can get in touch with him ...
contact mental trousers he may have an option ticked where administrators or mods can email him.
