    w t b mikuni rs 36 flat slide carb(s)

For a project bike i need a couple of sets of rs 36's - the side draught version such as used on the early gs1000 etc

Must be a V8 powered time machine. I think he means the flatslides used on early GSXR1100's - not GS1000's.

Initially a few sets of 36's came in. Then everyone realised that they could get 38's and 40's for pretty much the same price.
36's are still pretty scarce. Still available new from Sudco. Not cheap.

Well, you don't want RS's - they don't adapt well to 2 strokes. Later individual flatslides - Mikuni TM's or Keihin PWK - are far more tunable.

Fully researched and do-able...there are other options but they come with some downsides. initial tuning will be done with a yz 125.

Okay.. still might be hard to find though. There's a guy in Queensland buying up what 36's appear on ebay, then cutting them into sets of 3 for Laverdas.

I have a new set, unused with cable attached. Was for a Toyota 4AGE project many years ago. Used Weber instead.
If you're still interested I'll send a photo and further details.
    Cheers.
