I'm sure he'll do a hell of a lot better next year. However, nobody would've thought Dovi would be the best bet for winning the championship so it's going to be a huge battle to be the number 1 Ducati.

Yamaha need to sort their shit. MM vs AD & JL for the beginning of the season I reckon.

Ducati v Honda. Who would have thought?

I'm sure he'll do a hell of a lot better next year. However, nobody would've thought Dovi would be the best bet for winning the championship so it's going to be a huge battle to be the number 1 Ducati.

No matter what happened this year,I just cannot see Dovi being in the same position next year. His luck in weather and tyres and his tactics made him look better I think.
There are too many scrappers for next year that could do well if ,again, the weather and tyres provide a more normal year ??
(we'll see at the end of 2018 I suppose ???). (just me in my chair guess'n,U understand !)

Depends on what Mitchie do with their tyres, they've been so hit or miss this year that a fair few riders have gone off them. If they can provide a tyre that all riders and bikes can perform on then it's going to be brilliant I think.

Wouldn't bet against MM winning another title, all comes down to whether Yamaha can give their riders a good enough bike, the Ducati was ALMOST good enough I think to beat the MM/Honda combo, so if they make another step then they should wipe the floor. Pramac bringing Jack Miller across may be the young talent they needed to bring in to line up the factory seat in next few years.

Really interesting to see the number of Independent teams and riders now. Was probably the same this year actually.
I would really like to see all the teams and riders be 'Independent' so to speak so that the field is a little more even, but then on the other hand that would argue against a meritocracy.
If Tech 3 manage to keep their current bikes with some power upgrades then Zarco will be right in the hunt and if Jonas can get well, he will be in there too.
Miller will be in like a robbers dog on the Pramac Ducati.
Redding is too big for the Aprilia.
The KTMs will be closer, but Pol and Bradders are not quite in the league of aliens.

I had the strange idea that Bradders was gone and Zarco was joining Pol on a KTM. Or maybe the idea wasn't all that strange?

30 seconds into Google search shows he's privately funded by Belgium motorsport company CEO.

Will see about Luthi. Only reason Morbi and Luthi shined this season was because Zarco and Rins moved to MotoGP... I think.

Regardless, it should be interesting. All hot Moto2 players are now in MotoGP!

Looks like Miller is enjoying the Ducati more than that "other" bike.

This is what I was hoping for, he'll let slip how he feels compared to the Honda.

The impression I got when Crutchlow first hopped on the Honda was that it's a bit of a handful....

CC may talk a lot but lots of what he said springs to mind:
Zarco is good but Miller and others could have done equally as well jumping on the Yamaha
Honda is a cunt to ride
Yamaha is not a cunt to ride

Unless Honda can make it less of a cunt Morbidelli, Luthi and any other rookie who gets on it will struggle.
