Yamaha Scorpio or Hyosung GT250 Comet? for a Lady

hey a friend of mine wants to get into riding and i have been teaching her the basics on my Hysoung gt250r but she is finding it a bit big and heavy and wants something lighter to start with

i have the chance to get either a yamaha scorpio or a hyosung gt250 comet (naked)
is the comet much smaller and lighter than my 250R? or should she go for the Scorpio?

    what are your thoughts?

    Thanks
    Jonathon

Although GT250 have high rise bar it shares the same frame, engine and fuel tank so it'd be similar in size.

Scorpio is considerably smaller and easier to sit.

If you can make it on Kiwibiker you can make it anywhere.

We have two Scorpios for clients to use for courses and assessments.

Pluses are easy to look after, light, easy on gas, and having a kick starter is a bonus.

Minus is them being marginal on the open road.

Depends on what you need it for. The Hyosungs are a mystery to me. I've only had short rides on clients GT250Rs and I found them a bit clunky and with a poor turning circle.

Scorpio. My beloved has a XT225 for adventure which shares the same motor etc. Open road speed limit just fine.

    Hyosung is crap.

The whole point of KB is that it's a forum to complain.

Have you ever seen a Hyosoung promo that mentioned their reliability (with a straight face) ... ???
