Compression tester extension

Looking for an extension for my compression tester to enable me to get a good seal with deep plug holes.

Had a good look round but can't find anything nz based, a couple of options ex China but descriptions are a bit vague.

Have tried screwing in using rubber hose only but am wary of ruining thread and readings are low so suspect (hoping) it's a leak. Single cylinder so nothing to compare to.

The likes of Motion Pro used to supply replacement extensions for plug sizes 10mm, 12mm, & 14mm

They're still listed on their site as replacement items so your local M/C shop should be able to get them easily enough

Thanks for that, I'm trying to find a solid one though so I can get a tight fit, the hole's pretty deep so the rubber hose is a bit loose. Also I'm worried about stripping the thread as it's hard to get a feel for it with the bendy rubber hose. Might have to order a set from Aliexpress at this rate, trouble is you can only get the complete kit.

Actually just thought, I'll chop the end off an old plug, weld a tube on and weld a nut to the tube which I can use to screw in the adapter and also to connect to my gauge.
