    Thumbs up few questions

hello all, ive finally persuaded my dad to let my get a "real" sportsbike (and sell my crm).

right now i wouldnt be racing, that will take a little longer to persude my dad, but ild go on open days till i can (and will)
just wondering how much of a chance do 250 two strokes have against the 400's to win a race. i want to be relitivilty competitive later on, so i want to know if something like a rgv250 could have a chance of a podium.

also leathers.... i want to get some really bad, but i dont know if a want a 1piece or 2. ild like to use them both on the track and on the road. ive always wanted a 1piece but i feel ild end up only using them on long rides, and not around town. thats where i could atleast wear the jacket with the 2piece.

    thanks in advance

at pukie you will get blown into the weeds. But at taupo its all about corner speeds so a 250 stroker actually can do quite well

Ideally one-piece for racing, but if you must compromise then a zip together two-piece would work.

I would recomend some decent 2 piece leathers with the zipper running fully around the waist, One piece leathers are great on the track, but for commuting aswell they can be a bit of a nuisance. That and One piece leathers tend to be easily grown out of and become tight inbetween thy legs

We got it going better yesterday. Still needs some work though. We put a cone on the carb and moved the needle up. Don't know what else we can do, dad's thinking.
